MODULE 1

WARM UPS

Get your mind and body ready by participating in a warm up led by Meghan or Andrea. Use this time to stretch your muscles, warm up your body, and mentally prepare to face new challenges. With Andrea’s artistic gymnastics background and Meghan’s rhythmic gymnast background, you will find yourself performing a diverse range of exercises that will fully prepare you for what’s to come.

  • Variety: Choose between two 10-minute follow along warm ups
  • Full Body: Prepare each muscle group for active and passive stretching
  • Convenient: Easy to do anywhere at anytime

MODULE 2

FRONT SPLITS

Follow along with Meghan as she guides you through a variety of exercises that will help you improve your front splits. The goal of this module is to increase flexibility in your hamstrings, hip flexors, quads & glutes. Exercises in this module include kicks, lunges & pike stretches. If you wish to challenge yourself further, advanced oversplit variations are included as well.

  • Variety: Includes over 15 active and passive exercises
  • Targeted: Train your hamstrings, hip flexors, quads, and glutes
  • Advanced: Features stretches for advanced students

MODULE 3

MIDDLE SPLITS

Follow along with Andrea as she leads you through her favorite exercises that will help you master your middle splits. The goal of this module is to increase flexibility in your hip flexors, adductors, abductors, hamstrings & glutes. Exercises in this module include circles, kicks & straddle stretches. If you wish to challenge yourself further, advanced oversplit variations are also included.

  • Variety: Includes over 15 active and passive exercises
  • Specific: Train your hamstrings, adductors, abductors, hip flexors, and glutes
  • Advanced: Features stretches for advanced students

MODULE 4

BACKBENDS & MORE

Follow along with Meghan and Andrea as they teach a variety of exercises designed to help you gain the flexibility needed to perform backbends, chest stands, scorpions, and more! With Andrea, you will go through wrist, neck, & shoulder stretches as well as progressions that will prepare you for scorpions. With Meghan, you will learn stretches for your back & hips, as well as stretches that will prepare you for backbends and chest stands. Please note that some exercises in this module will require you to already have your splits.

  • Strengthen: Includes exercises to strengthen as well as lengthen
  • Integrated: Get coached by both Meghan and Andrea
  • Skill-Specific: Includes progressions for chest stands, scorpions, and valdezes

MODULE 5

PARTNER STRETCHES

Grab a partner and join Meghan and Andrea as they demonstrate different ways you can stretch with a buddy. The goal of this module is to increase your own flexibility using methods you would not be able to do on your own as well as provide fun ways to stay accountable to your stretching routine. Exercises in this module include arch ups, back to back stretches, and partner splits. 

  • Originality: Learn stretches you may have never seen before
  • Passive ROM: Increase your passive range of motion with external stimuli
  • Self-Paced: Take your time with demonstrations vs. follow along videos

MODULE 6

FOLLOW ALONG ROUTINES

Don't feel like going exercise by exercise and want a full complete session of each module? Just hop into one of our follow along routines and do them as many times as you'd like. Who knows? You may do only follow along, you may want to break it down!

  • Convenience: Just press play and follow along
  • Challenge: Push yourself to follow along and limit breaks

About Your Instructors

Meghan Lalor 

Meghan started gymnastics training at 6 years old beginning with artistic gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling. Luckily, the gym she was training at also had a Rhythmic gymnastics program which was a better fit for her. In Rhythmic gymnastics, the combination of dance, strength flexibility and artistry really called out to me. It was athletic but also artistic in one sport.

By 8 years old, she was ranked top 8 in the Western region for her age and placed second at the national Junior Olympics for Rhythmic. At the age of 10, she was the athlete of the year placing first for the Western region. By 12, she was top 25 in the country for the Junior age group which included competing at the Visa Championships where she placed 10th overall. Based on these results, she was asked to compete Internationally for the US team in Belgium and Bulgaria and won the gold medal from the Bulgaria competition.

After a lower back stress fracture from Rhythmic when she was 13, dreams of moving to the senior national team were no longer possible. She was able to keep dancing however, which she did competitively and was invited to attend the Orange County School for the Arts dance programs during high school which led to being accepted to the Alvin Ailey School at Fordham in New York city for their dance program. She received her BFA from Alvin Ailey which led her to pursue a professional career as a dancer. Her first professional job was a combination Rhythmic gymnast/dancer aboard the 5th largest cruise ship in the world, AIDANova. After 9 months of performing on AIDANova, Meghan returned to Southern California to perform with the LA Follies as well as help others by coaching and teaching stretching exercises. These exercises have kept her healthy with all the work that she does as a performer.

Andrea Orris

Andrea is a former D1 Full Scholarship Athlete who competed for Illinois State University where she earned Athlete of the Year and 1st Team All-Conference Honors in 2010. After graduating, she was the Assistant Coach and Head Choreographer at ISU for 3 seasons. She has 11 years gymnastics coaching experience; including coaching an athlete from compulsories through level 10 to go on and receive a Full D1 Gymnastics Scholarship.

Before ISU, Andrea was a level 10/elite gymnast at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy and coached by Olympic Team Head Coach Valeri Liukin. During this time she was a 2x Junior Olympic National Qualifier.

Andrea is very passionate about teaching gymnastics, specializing in Flexibility training for all ages and skill levels. She wants to show people that ANYONE can participate in basic gymnastics, and that you can learn new skills and push your body to new limits at any age.
